Delete your Crew Up account

Last updated 26 October 2026

You can delete your Crew Up account and the data that goes with it at any time: in the app, or by email if you no longer have it.

In the app

  1. 01Crew: open Dashboard. Clients: open Account.
  2. 02Tap Delete account, then Delete my account.
  3. 03Enter the code we text you, to confirm it's you. Your account is deleted straight away.

When it has to wait

It waits until nothing is left open: crew, until you have been paid for every shift you worked; clients, until your live events have ended and your payments to us are settled. The app tells you what's left.

By email

  1. 01Email privacy@example.com from any address, with the subject "Delete my account".
  2. 02Give the mobile number you sign in to Crew Up with, and your name as it is on your profile.
  3. 03We'll call or message that number to confirm it's you, so no one else can delete your account.
  4. 04We'll delete it and email you when it's done, within 30 days.

What we delete

  • Your sign-in, number, name and email. Your number can sign up again as a new account, unless we banned it.
  • Your profile and profile photos.
  • The details from your Aadhaar check.
  • Your certificates, the written reviews about you, and your alerts.
  • Your shifts that haven't started yet: you're taken off their crews.
  • Your phone's notification tokens. You'll be signed out everywhere.

What we keep

Records of the shifts you worked, their attendance and ratings, and the payments made for them, under "Deleted user", no longer linked to your name or number. The law requires us to keep payment records, and we delete them when it no longer does.

A record that you agreed to the Aadhaar check: its date and the last four digits.

A record that you agreed to this privacy policy: when, and which version.

Clients: your organisation's name and your events stay, as business records, and for the crew who worked them.
